Constantius II, 337-361. Follis (Bronze, 23 mm, 5.90 g, 12 h), a contemporary imitation from an irregular mint, imitating Arelate, after 348-350. D N CONSTAN-TIVS RE AVG Pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Constantius II to right. Rev. FEL TEMP RE-PARATIO / A / PARL Helmeted soldier to left, shield on left arm, spearing falling horseman; to right, shield on ground. Cf. RIC 120 (for prototype). A lovely local imitation. Good very fine.
